Strange question...............but will Hannah actually be doing the massage and physically touching the horses? My mare Indy is so sensitive and such a spook that she can hardly stand anyone she doesn't know to touch her. When she went to the trainer before he could hardly touch her without her jumping out of her skin

Connie - I think there will be both - Hannah will be working with the horses (and will adjust them chiropractically if needed) as well as her teaching you some hands on techniques that you can do yourself.
Hannah has a very calming, soft, relaxing approach. I would imagine that Hannah could get through to Indy and allow her to touch her. You might not be able to get as much out of it without Hannah being able to touch her, but probably still be able to get some out of it.

Hannah will be touching the horses and doing treatments as needed. She generally takes things slow and makes it a positive experience for the horse. Hannah has some techniques that she can try to make it comfortable for Indy and she certainly wouldn't do anything that upsets her. Hannah really enjoys cases like Indy - it is a challenge and she enjoys finding ways to help horses overcome their fears. I "promise" you will love her! If you want to talk to Hannah directly about Indy before deciding to come to the clinic - email her at hannahevergreendvm@comcast.net or give her a call 206-940-8589. She would be more than happy to chat with you about Indy. Hope to see you there!

I have total faith in Hannah but my only worry is that we won't get as much out of it if she can't touch Indy. Her behavior is the strangest thing because no one has ever hurt that mare in her life but she is convinced that strangers are going to hurt her......Silly pony I am planning on coming but only if my trainer has ridden her before the clinic. She hasn't been ridden since my accident and I can't risk her bucking me off because of my back......So put me down but tentatively.
