We only had one cancellation, but a couple of unconfirmed participants. If those unconfirmed participants become confirmed, we are full. Can we get confirmation of participation for those of you that are planning to come and reading this email?
I will be sending out an email with more specific information shortly.

All clinic participants should have received the following email. I am posting it here just in case: Hi everyone, You are receiving this email because you currently registered for the Bodywork Clinic with Dr. Hannah Evergreen, to benefit Save A Forgotten Equine, this Saturday. If you are NOT able to attend, please let me know ASAP so I can plan accordingly. If you are able to come, please send me a short bio on your horse by Friday at Noon, including: - Horse's Name, breed, age - History of horse (past experiences, how long you have had him/her, how you got him/her) - Health issues (lameness concerns, shoeing/feet issues, previous injuries/treatments horse has had) - Type of riding you do/current exercise program - Horse's current diet and living conditions - Any specific problems or concerns you are having This will printed out and available for all clinic participants as well as for Dr. Hannah to be able to review prior to the clinic and to better understand your horse. The clinic will start promptly at 9am. Clinic format will be: 8:00am-9:00am Clinic participants arrive, get horses unloaded and ready, introduce yourself (Doughtnuts, coffee available) 9:00am-12:30pm Hands-on sessions with Dr. Hannah covering massage, acupuncture, chiropractic, and other areas of holistic care 12:30-1:30 Lunch break. Bring a sack lunch, bring something to BBQ, or lunch provided (BBQ) for additional $5. Some snacks and drinks will also be available for purchase. 1:30-5:00pm Under saddle sessions with Dr. Hannah focusing on how you can make your horse move and feel his best! Trailer Parking is EXTREMELY limited. If you can, please plan on having your horse dropped off and picked up and park your trailer off-site. If you plan on bringing a trailer and need parking, please let me know in advance and tell me how big your rig is. We may have to have you drop your horse off, park your trailer off-site and have a volunteer give you a ride to/from where your trailer is parked. Please plan on working out of your trailer. If you absolutely need a stall (as in, your horse will not stand tied or in the trailer), let me know in advance and I will try to accomodate that. If you have any questions at all, please let me know! Looking forward to seeing you all on Saturday! Sincerely, Jaime Taft www.safehorses.org206-484-2741

Okay, I'm the yahoo who has apparently been unconfirmed for the past few weeks. Sorry Jaime, I know I've been unconfirmed, and I just sent you an email explaining why. But I'm putting it here too so I can be sure you get it. I'm so sorry about leaving you hanging…last I knew I had asked if there was still room and then I realized shortly thereafter that there is an under saddle component…I was thinking it was all body/ground work/attitude type of stuff, which is where I’m at with Clancy…we’re having issues with trust and dominance. Actually, I think she wants to kill me...the sweet, docile mare that arrived starved and covered in rain rot has morphed into a well fed equivalent of an out of control teenager. When I lunge her she actually tries to rear up and paw at me...half-heartedly, but still, very naughty. And haltering/putting her blanket on has become like a bucking bronc rodeo. So I was thinking this clinic was more groundwork and "connecting" with your horse mentally. In any case, then I went on vacation and never checked the board (a key component to this whole posting thing...I'm new to it) and forgot all about it so I missed that my name has been on the unconfirmed list. So at this point we won’t be able to make it. I really wish I could, and I’m really bummed that I can’t. :-( I will send some money to cover my failure to show.

Hey everyone, due to cancellations there are still THREE open spots in the clinic tomorrow!
I've had interest from some who would just like to come for the morning bodywork session and not the riding session, so we will offer that option for new participants at a cost of $100.
Email me if you are interested! jaime@safehorses.org

I would love to bring both my punkins but I need a ride for them and someone to handle one of them during the clinic - hoping for Lisa's daughter - I have sent an email.
