Bacchus was in with her and he was a stud, though not known at the time. He was crypt though, can they breed normally?

As far as I have ever heard. Yes, they can breed normally.

Oh, and little Trey was with her too I think - it wouldn't be the first time I heard of a yearling becoming a dad!

So, does anybody have any pictures of the maybe daddy? Was he a SAFE horse?

Bacchus is the horse shown with Dorothy in the SAFE flyer. He was indeed a SAFE horse.
However, I highly, highly doubt he is the sire of Viv's baby. She's too bagged up to hold out another month or more...

Here is Bacchus' Feedlot photo... You know Peri...I was just thinking about typing up his story yesterday while I was raking my backyard. It's such a great story, but kinda involved...it would take some time to write up and who has time for that?? ;D I really will try and get something started...maybe if the two of us make a start, we'll egg each other on to get it done.

My vote for August 9th is just hours away. It would be nice, especially for Vivian, and for everyone anticipating her delivering a healthy foal. This just may be one for the SAFE record books, and many others for that matter.
Good luck VIV!!! May your foaling be much easier than your pregnancy!

Wow - you needed an extra zoom to see that little bit! Great eagle eye. Her bag looks much bigger than last I saw her, maybe she just wanted to wait for some cool days for her comfort.

It actually is a little bit more than the photo shows, and is on both teats, but yes, its not globs.
That said, this is all the wax that my mare ever got...and she foaled within 24 hours of it.
