Hottmom, Viv lives where the clinic was held. Being fostered, I should say, where the clinic was held. She did not raise an eyeball at the goings-on, which at times really DID resemble a 3-ring circus, complete with dog and pony show. ;D She's a cool mare and has a very kind soft eye despite her sides being kicked constantly by the foal.

How was the clinic??? Did everyone learn alot, have fun, etc...?
I wish I lived closer to civilization so I could be more involved.

You can read more about the clinic on the general board here - we're all exhausted but there's a synopsis there, and hopefully soon we'll post lots of photos. It was great, IMO!

Me Three!
Maybe she thinks she's an elephant, I have heard their gestation period is up to 23 months.
Or rather, she is a hippo-bottumous, and thier gestation is pretty long as well. I will have to look up just how long.
LOL ***(at poor viv's expense)****

Well for crap sakes, someone please put her on a washer with the spin cycle going Or maybe ride on the back of a motorcycle, heehee! I remember going through this with Barbie and well all the signs everyone talked about pretty much didn't apply to her except the wax thing. She was 365 days and finally waxed and then 24 hrs later pop!!! All the other signs came and went followed by crickets But the wax was a winner, though I have heard that still isn't set in stone for sure either. Poor girl. Maybe if we thru her a baby shower

Shireluver, that would be impossible, as we would have had Vivian for 15 months by then.
