Let's see......because Jaybird beat me to the finish line on the name the ponies thread....I had to start a new challenge.......
Here are the rules:
1.The challenger posts a riddle and then picks someone to solve it......the challenger offers money, starting at ten dollars, and pays IF the person they chose is able to solve the riddle. 2. The person chosen to solve the riddle has 2 hours to solve it. They cannot get ANY help. If the riddle is solved...the challenger pays the money to SAFE. 3. THe person chosen to solve the riddle can opt to raise the anty (thus, they take on the $) and they then challenge someone else. 4. If the riddle is not solved, no payment happens. anyone can play as long as they can back up the challenge money.
Okay, I played first and Jaybird solved it...... who wants to go next?
all challenges and riddles, and answers have to be posted on the board, so we can see who sweats!

hmmm....how could we change this so that everyone can take a guess?
Maybe the first one to answer?? and then the challenger pays?
Then the winner has to "riddle me this"?
suggestions?

ACK! OK, I spent a little time on this but I'm not sure if I have it right. I can however justify my logic. The numbers go in the following sequence: 3 3 5 4 4 3 5 5 4 3 _ _ I looked at them in pairs and took the difference of each pair and found a pattern: 3-3=0 5-4=1 4-3=1 5-5=0 4-3=1 Therefore, I think that 11=3 and 12=2 ****second guess***** There is a pattern of two repeating numbers followed by a 3rd number. Assuming only 3, 4, 5 are the numbers in play, then 11=3 and 12=4 (as 3 3 5 was already used once). Ok, I suck at these...either totally overthink them or cannot see the obvious. If I'm wrong, can I pass it to Cardicorgi?

Oh darn you! This reminds me of LSAT questions, I love this stuff! 1=3 2=3 3=5 4=4 5=4 6=3 7=5 8=5 9=4 10=3 11= 612= 6I'm pretty sure on this one- anyone want to know how I arrived with these numbers?
