The movie was "Hype" [MTA - not sure here but like to sound like I know what I'm talking about ;D] - I think you guys are right and it's Andrew Wood... Not to mention still HOT. Man aren't there way too many of 'em, all so talented - Mia Zapata, Tom Pig...

We ROCK.
great question, Foxy. I think the four of us should become the Dead or Dying Rock Star Trivia Experts.

ah ha! according to IMDb, there was a 1992 documentary about Mother Love Bone called The Love Bone Earth Affair. So it must be Andy. yes! YAAAAAAAAA you are right. there was another movie release... And both Kevin and Regan ( Malfunkshun ) are starting a new band...Great guys! I went to Andys memorial in 1990 @ Paramount. I was talking to Kevin about it the other day, I still have the program. Im going to scan it in and put it on myspace. OK Jaybird wins!

He was so wonderful.
I have a little tiny Andy Wood story....a million years ago, my band (Capping Day) played a show at the Paramount with a bunch of other bands, I think Malfunkshun was on the bill as well, and we were out in the street unloading gear, and Andy walked by. Remember how he used to get on stage and say "Seeeee--AT---L" to the crowd, like some big superstar on tour? Well he walked by and looked at me & Laura and said "Capping Day" in the same exact way. I wouldn't have thought he knew us at all. Anyway I was thrilled, never forgot it.

What a great story.....Capping Day? Hmmm Ill ask around! Andy always had that rock star persona, I know things would have been different ( PJ) had he lived. Sigh... You might enjoy myspace then.....its a blast from the musical past...check out some of the bands, you might remember them. www.myspace.com/veedubdiva It used to be my personal myspace, but its mutated into RKCNDY check out the youtube on AIC. Im in the last few seconds of it.. Please excuse the big hair.. LOL

This might be a shot in the dark, but since you had local bands in the Seattle area, might you have known Dave Press? A different music genre, but it is a small world...

Bonnie, I had no idea you were a Fall fan! They are always on heavy rotation at our house... and boy did I have a crush on Sean Croghan (along with every broad in Portland)

what? who said I was a Fall fan? I've never even heard the Fall... is that written on the Capping Day myspace page? If so, I had nothing to do with it. The Capping Day page won't even accept ME as one of its friends. FF, I DO remember Green Apple Quickstep, but not Heir Apparent (although my memory is shot, so who knows.... )Your page is super fun. I didn't know that RKCNDY still existed! and Mara, I don't remember Dave Press...anyone else remember him??
