Haha thanks! Sugar was SUCH a joy to ride! Soon I may have my own horse - we are going to look at a couple of Quarter Horses tomorrow C: . I loved Sugar though, she was so calm and so sweet. I cannot wait till next year to come out and help!

Kristy, I got a chance to chat with your grandma and her boyfriend (we were sharing a picnic table). They were a hoot! I hope I'm in that good of shape when I'm 90!!! I had a good time at the show. I wish I would have been able to bring Ariel this year to try out the trails course. I think she would have been a star!

Stella and I had fun at the show yesterday. I love having both of my horses show, and it's really nice to have a talented young rider do well with one of them. It was great to see Kheema in action, she's been through some pretty horrid times, and I love to see her shine! Thank you Jet for making the beautiful garland! It's prettier than Sera's Regional ones! She sure was beautiful! I heard some people next to us arguing about her tail, thinking she had extensions!

I was sad not to be able to show Sasha off at the show, but definitely next year! My trainer really enjoyed the show (she brought two of her school horses and students: Maddie Mitchell & Sunny and Shelby on Pie). She wondered if S.A.F.E. would entertain having another show anytime soon? It was a great environment to take the students to.
Thanks to everyone who put it together. We really enjoyed ourselves and I heard comments that the judge was great!

Hi Megan! I missed seeing Sasha too! But there is always next time! As for putting another SAFE show on soon...not sure about that! It is SO much work, it always seems to take us about a month just to recover! Maybe at some point we can get it running smooth enough where we could have it twice a year...we'll have to see.

She sure was beautiful! I heard some people next to us arguing about her tail, thinking she had extensions! No tail extensions. It use to be twice as thick, but we backed a few times too many.... I wish you had come over to say hi! It was nice to meet and re-meet some people but I would have loved to say hi to you and talk "arab". Maybe next year.

Cherrybabe - the photographer's name is Liz Stabbert and she posts here on the board. I am sure she will post when the photos are up on her site!

There were quite a few people there! We'll definitely talk "arab" and I'll seek you out at some of the arab shows in the futures--I love going to watch. I have a friend that comes down from Alaska to show her horses. I haven't talked to her in ages, though. M

Sasha loves visitors at Pond-a-Luce-A. I had a great riding session with her yesterday with my trainer--we cantered both ways and she picked up the gait (and lead) very easily! We also worked on some turn on the forehand, which she picked up quickly as well. She's such an awesome horse!

It's a wonderful piece. I'm so thrilled that he even mentioned Amanda Koh and her gorgeous paintings! :-)
