Who is the AHA registered owner of Amber right now? Is it still Jean Elledge?

I agree, he is a stunner. I LOVE the stretching pose, Annie does the same thing and they just look so graceful like that.
I don't show Arabs, but perhaps you would know the answer to this. I met a flea-bitten gray Arab who had just come to Washington from the circuit in Arizona and his face was clipped ending in a inverted "V" shape just under his forelock. What is that for? I mused that it might be to highlight the dish in his face, but I don't know.

I do that with my horses for the winter too; except for Khrames since he doesn't grow all that much hair. Makes them look less like yaks.

He looks fabulous and hooray for you for letting him have friends. Cecil does too. That is how you create a stallion who does just fine riding in company, etc. - you don't isolate them and treat them like a fire-breathing dragon!

You know, he illustrates perfectly what someone said to me recently, "its' all about expectations."
You have invested your energies in him and he has returned them -- with dividends, I'd say!

Everytime I see Khramer, he takes my breath away, he's soooo pretty! And the ocean......I can't wait to take my horse. It looks so wonderful!

He's beautiful, Barb. I hope Ariel turns out as pretty as her daddy!

Six year old stallion, 15 year old rider, and a mare in heat grazing around. I know its not show-ready, but we will be there next spring. Attempt at hand gallop: ...and yes, he has a beautiful walk too along with a reining stop. The huge effort seems to be the ability to get him to go. He's pretty lazy.

I love him, and I love that you're bringing him along so sensibly and slowly, and that he gets to do things other than his show training. Cecil got a lesson in broom polo this week. He couldn't care less - however, I must say, I needed a longer broom!

Khramer visited the beach this week. It was fun to see someone else ride him for a change. He loves the beach!
