Well we've got barb wire around one side of our back pasture so that will not work right now I guess. I told my husband that this spring we need to get it replaced with the hotwire and add a lean to out there so that we can do this. We've got the room for more horses and the love just not the right stuff yet I guess.

Right now, we have the following horse in boarding situations:
Deeds Bandit Lexi Whiskey Dobbin
And Titan is at Schwung's place which has one too many horses on it now that her filly is home.
So each of these horses could use a foster home, ideally. The more foster homes we have, the more horses we can rescue.

Hullo! I'm new to this board, so this might seem like a funny request/offer, but I wonder if networking might help my chances in finding what we are looking for here: Jim and I own our own OTTB, but are currently boarding her up in Arlington... we WANT to rent or even buy a small place where we can have her with US, though- and I miss the days when I cared for horses and cattle all day long. I could easily provide foster home space if we can just find a place to rent that has pastures and an affordable monthly cost! We live in Everett currently, and can move quite a ways out if need be- Jim works in Bellevue at the moment, tho he could possibly change jobs to work closer to a new farm/ranch if we find one. (he does pharmacy work, and pretty much every city has a pharmacy!) We're thinking North of Everett, or out twords (but not father than) Index... that would be great. Does anyone have any ideas or know of a suitable horse-property? If there is a place for rent, we just have the one horse, three housecats and a housedog- I am a stay-at-home myself, so can provide all day care for the animals, if the property has room for fostering, and the landlord is okay with that, or if we're buying! We currently pay 950 for rent, and around 225 for horse stuff, so anything up to 1100-1200 a month would be possible, I think. (and no... we don't want a nice house. Does that sound silly? We both grew up in old farmhouses, and I am amazingly handy with them- a little tiny house, or even a mobile home would be fine- I can fix it up! The important thing is that it be horse-safe, or able to be made horse-safe with simple repair or refencing.) I can't stand being so far from our own horse. It's drivin' me nuts. We want to MOVE- out of a little 'city' home and into a farm again. If We can find a place, We can provide a place for fostering or emergency space!

Hi I'm new here. I would love to foster and I have 5 acres, BUT it isn't fenced. (Short story here) We, my late husband and I, bought this property because we had two paint horses. Both of the horses were Hot Wire wise, so we strung up hot wire. Several years later after Daisy died (at a good age of 30+). My late husband tore down the hot wire so I would not get any more horses. Anyway There are some fence posts still up, but no fence. If any one would volunteer to put up fence for me, I would gladly foster animals here. I have a two stall barn and an old bath tub for water.

I don't know if you still need foster homes but I have two stalls available at my barn in Grapeview (sunrisestablesnw.com) Unfortunately I can not take anymore freebies, (I have waaaaay too many already) if that is an option let me know. Janean
