Thank you Jenny!! That was so nice of you!! Also, we have Sarah's back (her nice Rambo), but I think its probably too small for either of the TB mares. It's a 74 I believe (albeit a big one). It was slightly too small for Sarah but you couldn't really tell other than it came a tad short over her rump.

Count me as a solid Larkspur Fan Club member. The barn owner seems to be, too - when we arrived she was hanging out in Larkspur's run-in with her, petting her. Larkspur's so dang sweet and polite - I was a gelding-only kind of girl until I met Lark.
She's definitely filling out in her hind and topline. She is well-mannered; we took her out to hand graze (and groom) in a small pasture abutting a larger pasture populated with 6 horses, who came galloping up to see Lark- Lark didn't flinch, other than getting a bit giraffe-necked - no explosivity. Certified and I are planning a beauty day for her. She is strangely attracted yet repulsed by watermelon licorice - prefers Berry goods...
modified: forgot to say that the rainrot is resolving - you can see that she's bald on her topline, but her spring coat is growing in so it's beginning to fill in.

Oh no ..... I think I'm in love!! *Would she be good for an english prospect? *Can she be handled by younger adults/children? *Have you had anyone on her back yet? *Any inquiries on this mare yet? *Where is she located?

I have come to realization that TB's will always have that slim ribby look... *sigh* I went to go see Mesa, ones of the CBER TB's, she has the same build as larkspur only quite a bit taller!
Bshorses- hope it works out for you! She was raced so Im guessing she would do well under english.

BSH - Larkspur is currently boarded in Vader, WA. She is a lovely regal mare who is wonderful to handle. She was never raced, but has some fine offspring. No one has been on her back to our knowledge. Once she fills out, she should make a lovely english prospect, though she is a bit sway. Some back strengthening exercises can help with that. You can email her contact for more information on her.
