My doctor's are saying I am cured, I have one more surgery in September to repair some damage to my stomach from all the meds and all 3 doctors say the cancer is all gone and not in remission. Fantastic news! Uh-oh somebody had better warn your horses that the vacation is over.

Lady is in her new (temporary) home. She did awesome.
Here is how today went--- We got there and had to take a while to catch her. She knew something was up (smart girl). We had someone else catch her after me, my dad, and dean had been out there for about 20min. We got her out of the pen and I led her up to the trailer. She sniffed the trailer out a little then put her front two feet in. The sound suprised her and she backed out. She sniffed some more and then two front feet in again, without forcing her. Then a couple seconds later she put in both her back feet. No fight, no problems, she was in. She trailered really nice all the way home.
We got to Gypsygirl's (Amy's) house and opened up the door. I was really worried she would come out like a rocket and smack her head. But she went V-E--R---Y slowly. She got her back feet out almost instantly then she decided to keep her front half in for a little while. I didnt really want to push her or make her more excited then she already was. Then after a few mintues she slowly put both her front feet out too. She did awesome! She looked around at her new place and did a couple snorts then settled to munch on the grass. I led her around a little and then took her to her new pasture, where she got to meet her new her new pasture buddy, Brandy! Brandy was extra nice and there was no squealing. Lady made a couple yucky faces but that was about it.
So then I went back in after a few minutes and she let me walk right up to her and halter her!! I led her around more and she was great. I really want to get her feet done and I had no idea how she would react to get her feet being picked up. I asked my dad to hold her while I tried to pick up her front ones. She did what I asked and picked them up!!! She attempted to "take them back" but I told her no and she stopped. So both front feet are a go!! I didnt try the back ones, so we will see how it goes in the near future.
Over all this was a wonderful day!!!
I want to thank Dean and David who helped me with Lady today and I want to thank Amy who lended me her trailer and is letting Lady stay at her place!!
Pictures of the day soon to come!

Looks great HC! Hmm...your saddle blanket looks suspiciously like a towel. Pink is definately her color though!
