I just saw Holly with Mindy and Merle at the ACTHA ride, all pinked out - including pink hooves and a pink tiara (it was a Pink Ribbon/Breast Cancer benefit ride).
I am sure Merle will be updating soon, and she took lots of pictures too, so I don't want to steal her thunder, but let's just say I was awfully impressed by how Holly handled the obstacles that I photographed!

We did a four and a half hour ride with 10 obsticles. All dressed up in pink! It was good to see you Monica. Did you get some good pictures? I'd love to see them.

Wow!! Monica took are great. I am so glad you got to see Holly. We are very proud of her. The trail it's self has many challenges. Hills, up and down. Lots of scarey things too. Holly handled it all like a seasoned trail horse. They didn't place but we all had a great time. I got 3rd with Tabby in the Open class. It's just good to be back out doing what I love. I am planning on taking Holly camping next week. Monica you are very welcome to come ride Holly on the trails.

It has been interesting seeing all the horses from this seizure grow up and become wonderful horses. I have a special spot in my heart for all those that I fostered. What a rewarding thing to be a part of. Thank You SAFE!! coconut that would have been fun to see you at the ride. Maybe next time.

Holly says "I don't need no bit!" She always puts her tongue over the bit. Doesn't play with it, just wears it that way. So, we mostly ride her in a halter or sidepull. She is happy with that.

It has been interesting seeing all the horses from this seizure grow up and become wonderful horses. I agree. I just love seeing these fabulous updates. It is such a wonderful testament to the work done by safe- including foster homes, trainers, volunteers, and of course the dilligent work the BOD in placing horses in homes committed to making them good horsey citizens. Holly has turned in to quite the stunning little gal.

Poka-dot bra was ON me-I was judging obstacle #9 pool noodles and pink ribbons,(Lynn was in charge of the bra-weave) although when we took a ride later in the day and hit the 'Bra Trail', I wish I had brought it with to add to a tree somewhere. :-D LL
