Oliver is putting together a Precision Pooping team and hopes to make it to the Olympics one day. Fortunately he wont have to decide whether to withdraw from this Olympics in China because the climate, as with other equestrian events, is too stressfull for Precision Pooping.

Here's a try at some pictures. Emma thinks the grass is pretty good! Emma shows Dutchess where the best grass is.

They are a couple of beauty queens. ;D They are having a bit of a spa day today taking regular naps. Emma is completely sprawled out flat on the ground and Dutchess, attempting ever vigilance, is napping on her haunches but her nose is completely smooshed in the grass as she is fully lights out. Striker is reclined nearby but keeping watch so Dutchess can really nap. We are thinking Emma needs a promotion to perhaps "Princess Emma." Not quite a beauty queen but certainly a beauty princess.

The girls had another great day yesterday. We put them in the upper pasture which is a little larger, flatter, and more open than their first here. It was "off to the races" for the girls. Of course Emma was the instigator but Duchess was not to be outdone. Such gracefull young ladies. : ). Striker, a retired racehorse mind you, was having none of it. He was happy to watch the competitions from the sidelines.
After their races the girls finally noticed that this field has lots of new grass and clover. More munching followed because, after all, they are growing girls. ; )
Boy will they have fun on all the trails in the forests nearby.

Our new little Princesses are doin great from all reports. I'm off to work for a few days but Jan says all the kids are doing great. My TB has given the girls the first couple days to run around and be sassy to him but now he has decided they are ready for some finishing school. He is such a benevolent leader. He's not bossy but only expects good manners. He will be a good example for the girls and make them start watching their "P's and Q's." Our Pirelli trainor is supposed to come over for "meet and greet" on Sunday. That will be good to add that program to our current work on ground handling, desensitizing, and manners. They already are such good girls that things are off to a great start.

I just counted noses in the "SAFE Horses - Home at Last" thread. Unless there are some that are not listed; Dutchess and Emma are numbers 50 and 51 of SAFE rescues that have been adopted. I dont know if all of those have gone thru your doors or if some were "assists" but GREAT JOB!
