Jaime/Jet, How about I help set up in the AM, then do PM English ring steward again? Also, Craig said if its okay with Crystal, he can do the PM gate keeper, but only if you change the title to PM Gate "KING". Will that work?

If the Liason position ends the day of the show, I'd be happy to do it. I have worked the past SAFE shows so I am pretty familiar with how they work. The only thing is I am showing Annie in the morning so I won't be able to do anything until after I am done with her.

I would be SO happy if you would do this. You have a PM

I really only need him to help set up/tear down. Tear down is usually during gaming at the very end, so no problem. A great king Craig shall be!! ;D

I do not think I will be able to make it to the show this year. I have a different job at Safeway and work Tue-Sat now. I have a day off request in, but do not know if I have it off yet. So I do not want to commit to the prize drawing because I am not sure if I will make it. Kurt, who retired this year from Safeway, has gone back to work to pick up his baker's retirement. He is also working on Saturday's for Franz bakery. So he will not be able to come either. Crystal, if you are doing the trails course, Billy-Bob and Ralph will not be able to come and try to scare the horses. Maybe someone close by can donate a distraction. If I do happen to get the date off, I will come up and help. You can just use me where needed. I am going to be sad to miss the show, I was looking forward to it.

While he can't replace you and has no goats, Mr. Coconut (Les) said that he'd be happy to be the Raffle Guy....and that you'll be missed. I think that makes me (I mean HIM, of course) the collector of all things raffle-y....and the treasures are already piling up. I have a hat, some note cards & a Kentucky Horse Park WEG T-shirt in LAVENDER! so.....unless there are any objections, let the collections/donations begin

Oh Laurie, we will certainly miss you, Kurt, and the goats this year! I am totally bummed. But thank you to Les for stepping up to take on the prize raffle role! I have a couple of things that Kristi dropped off from the prize ride to include. And I gave Lynn a brand new unopened set of polo wraps for the tack sale yesterday that probably could go in the prize raffle as well.

We will miss you, Laurie!! Does anyone have any goats, a llama, or any other kind of farm critter that I can use for my trails course?? If you volunteer, PLEASE make sure you can transport said farm critter(s) to the show!

Just talked to my shoer Ron Johnson. He has a Llama we can use for the trail course. Either him or I can haul her to the show.

Llama's are way scarier than goats based on past experience. Should make things interesting!

I will need to check with Donida on their policy of additional livestock. I even find Llama's a bit scary ETA - RE: Poop Troop. Donida staff strips the stalls once we depart, but we will need people the monitor and pick the stalls throughout the day. No one wants to peek at the pretty horsie and see a dirty stall It would also be awesome to have a roving team to pick up after the horses around the show grounds and in the arenas.
