Wow! I feel so sorry for her... Hopefully she won't have to wait much longer because she looks like she should be uncomfortable especially with how hot it has been..

Goodness, she definitely resembles a whale (with almost a pretty tail, at last)! Is she still rolling daily?

She sure is looking glossy and beautiful! Great job Jaime.
However, a whale is an apt description of her - but don't tell her that, we wouldn't want to embarass her! ;D

She looks to me to have another couple of weeks to go. I would also guess that she either waxes heavy or drips milk before foaling.

Haha! I think we had one way back in April. At this point all bets are off! But feel free to make a guess. I would say...sometime in 2006, for sure.

She'll foal when we all least expect it...was she examined for twins? Our herford cow was (according to us) way over due - the 4th fireworks ...worked. We now have Picalo Pete!

Usually the time to check for twins is early in the pregnancy. When we had her checked in February I think she was probably even then still too far along to see anything by ultrasound (everything is too big). I have spoken to my vet but at this point its just a wait and see (not like we could do anything about twins anyway - except be prepared for things to go badly). More udder changes this morning, fuller, little white spots around her teats which I remember seeing on my mare but don't recall what they mean. No waxing yet.

yea, like way early into the cycle. I have forgotten what those spots mean, both my mares did it too. Let's all chant at the same time this evening..what was it pdevlieg said..'push it out; push it out, push it waaaaayyyyyyy out'....I'll venture a guess that baby 'x' will be trying those legs out on solid ground this weekend. All will go smoothly :>), but you're right - hope for the best prepare for the unknown bumps. My good thoughts and prayers are yours! oh-la-la changes to the udder - way cool!
