When I told Johnny I found a new horse at your place he said I wasn't aloud to go there anymore! Yeah right if he only knew! Glad he is doing better now the poor boy.

Rhythm looks stunning. That is just amazing that he seems to be completely sound. What a lucky guy!

He's only 2 and still has a lot of growing and filling out to do, but he is super cute. Bonnie, your grass looks great also! Love the last photo.

Ponies grow up so quick these days.... One minute they are colts knocking around the pastures getting "little league" injuries; the next minute they are geldings with their own "myspace" thread in the "Available for Adoption" section! ; )
Hurray for Rythm!!! : ) he's a lucky boy.

Hey.... should we change the title of his thread to 2-year-old Saddlebred cross gelding?

Yes, good catch! Also, I understand Monica took some video of Rhythm, but I can't find it anywhere! I would like to use it for his Petfinder ad, if possible....

Rhythm is at my farm temporarily before heading out to his new foster home with Lexi. Here's a few photos of his arrival last weekend. Just off the trailer: Checking out the new pasture: Saying hi to Haley: And some of his other neighbors: Settling down to graze:

I was searching for pedigree information on a Stallion I've been keeping for a friend on Lopez Island. She is trying to sell him and thought he might sell better if people could see him without going out to the Island..I ran across this site in my search for a printed copy of his pedigree. The Stallion is RLB Blaze of Rhythm, ostensibly the sire to this beautiful boy. I know his owner will be so saddened when she hears about he horrible situation this poor colt was subjected to. Sounds like he inherited his sires sweet and gentle temperment tho. I hope Rhythm finds that special home where he will continue to blossom. He is beautiful. Can I ask why you believe his dam was a Paso Fino? Were any found at the place the horses were taken from? Romayne

Hi Romayne and welcome to the board. If you have contact with the breeder, perhaps you can find out what breed his dam is. I think someone here posted that she knew this breeder or knew of her and that she often used Pasos in her breeding program. And, the Paso would explain his small size and his rather fancy movement. However, its just a guess at this point and I would love to know for sure.
