I saw Rhythm yesterday and wow! He looks like a little mini-Friesian! He's absolutely adorable and very sweet and friendly. He has grown a lot this past year as well. He's still small, in the 14-14.2h range, but also obviously still growing a bit. He is scheduled to go into training on May 16th (Hope will be coming back to the farm and he will take her place). I can't wait to see him go under saddle! Here's a photo I took from my phone yesterday:

He's very striking. Imagine what he'll look like in another year or so.....and that gorgeous mane!

He doesn't look like a baby anymore! I always loved his face and his flowing locks are a nice addition. Imagine him all tacked up in dressage garb - he certainly will be a stunner

Rhythm is leaving today to go into training! Benny and Sinatra are going to take his place at our foster home in Snohomish, and Hope and Jasmine will be coming back to Monroe.

That's too bad. I see she has TWENTY-ONE others for sale. *sigh*.
Rhythm's training is going very well. He, like Lexi, has learned to cross-tie, get baths, lunges, and wears a saddle and bridle. All of which he took to like no big deal (she said he never really even looked at the saddle, he just didn't care). He was hard to catch the first few days but now he comes right up to you to be caught. He's a little fussy about having his hind feet messed with (fallout from his injury, probably), but getting better every day.
All in all, Andrea says they are both super cute and have a lot of potential. And this group (so far) has been the easiest to start. Rhythm is super sweet and easy going!
They are working on desentization and lunging this week and next week they will start leaning over their backs.

Rhythm is doing fantastic in training! He is now having a rider leaning over his back and walking around and quite honestly he could care less. He is a total sweetheart and everyone just loves him. He's been separated from Lexi (due to their herdboundedness to each other) and his new friend is a big black Friesian/Clydesdale cross gelding. He's doing so well, the ONLY issue he has is that he is a little headshy especially about having his ears touched, so bridling has been a little bit of a problem, but he is improving every day. Good job Rhythm!!

We have Rhythm's 6 yr old brother. I just happened to be doing a search for their sires name and came across him. He's too cute! We got Moon, (Ebony Air Command) not from Jodi the breeder but from another gal who got him as a yearling.

Hi frenchie! I would love to see a photo of Rhythm's brother. Is he a full sibling? How tall did he end up?

Rhythm's training is coming along very well. He's almost completely over his ear shyness, and riding has been no big deal for him at all. He is now walking and trotting around the big arena (off the lunge) under saddle. I am planning on going up there on Saturday to get some video of both of them.
