I don't believe an actual date has been set as of yet, but in the past the show has taken place mid-to-end-of August.

As the self-appointed Official SAFE Grand Champion Garland Designer I would like to provide the following sneak peek at the 2010 Creation foundation....  inspired by the Kentucky Oaks Star-gazer lily blanket worn by Rachel Alexandra last year...  ok OUR Garland will be more "Shash-ey" & not as "Blanket-ey" but after spending some time recently planning for our trip back to Kentucky next month...and remember our adventure last year...how could I not be drawn to our these lovely SAFE color themed versions? Ok...we need a date now ;-) |

Wow how pretty! I bet the ponies will look great wearing that! I cannot WAIT for the show this year! I would love to volunteer doing anything, so just sign me up for whatever again this year :] Last year was a blast! And I will be bringing my own horses this yaear as well <3

Is there any art show/ art auction etc. to benefit S.A.F.E. either with the 2010 show (if it hasn't already happened). There's something on the S.A.F.E. website about one but the email address posted there wasn't working for me. I'd like to donate, so if anyone knows anything about if & when such an event will happen can you post it here or in a new related subject? I'm new to this forum today. I am interested in helping if I can.

We are still planning a HeART of the Horse II (currently aiming for Oct 2010) and should be announcing a planning meeting for some time in April.
We're hoping that everyone still has this event on their minds..we're going to need art, artist referrals and lots of Silent Auction Donations!
getting kinda excited about getting back into planning this.
We're also in need of a venue...that's a BIG hurdle to clear!
I'm also looking forward to HORSE SHOW news soon too!!!

We do. The 2010 SAFE Benefit Horse Show will be held on August 7 at Donida Farms in Auburn WA. Donida is a huge horse show facility that will allow us to expand our offerings at the show. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't tell you how excited I am that it's going to be at Donida. I've been showing in their Fall/Winter/Spring series there and I have to say it's my favorite in terms of the grounds and facilities! They have lots of outside space for riding/practicing and the indoor arena is great but not closed in and dark. The location is awesome (for me ;D) Can't wait!!! Time to start getting sponsors, right!!!  ? |
