Monroe would be pretty cool and with the barns it would be easy to do a two day show. What about Puyallup fairgrounds?
I like the idea of using HHSC too, for a northend show; and maybe Fronteir park for a south end show.

I just saw that Reber Ranch rents out their place for events at $300 a day. LOTS of parking, Lots of stalls, two 200x100 ft arenas, one with PA and bleacher seating + an additional indoor covered arena. check it out at: www.reberranch.com/sitefiles/facilities.htm

That's funny about Reber saying they don't know about SAFE. I got a $50 gift card donation for the SAFE show in August from Nancy, the floor manager and gave them literature about SAFE. I agree, Reber is pretty centrally located, parking can get a little messy. I was in there a few days ago and saw a sign on the counter at checkout from Serentity (SERR) asking for donated bales of hay and I don't think they have an exclusive relationship with Reber.

Thank you mymercedes.....I need to get the dates on my calendar--- if it is a two day show and I am free that weekend..... I would personally be willing to work one day and show the other day. I am also willing tos how SAFE horses if need be. I know others may, if approached, be willing to do the same maybe? a thought anyhow...

mymercedes, I was riding Apollo yesterday and he was going so good and sound that I thought that there would be at least 2 of us in the gaited horse class this year...

I am totally new to this and not much experience. My daughter is the horse rider but I love them from the ground. I have read the stories, shed the tears and LOVE the work you all do.
With that being said I was reading this thread on the first page RE the Tacoma Unit not renting for 1 day events. That is odd and doesn't make sense. We attended the Halloween Fun Day 2009 and it was a one day event. It benefited the drill team so maybe there is a connection there but it's worth looking in to again. I put in an email to them regarding their rates for a 1 day event. I'll post what I found out.

Hi, just attended the PNER ( Pacific NW Endurance Riders) convention in Portland, OR. A vendor there was interested in having a booth at th SAFE show, I told tem about it and the work SAFE does-- they thought that would be great! They make biothane tack at home and it is beautiful and very wear resistant....all kinds of COLORS! To whom should I direct this...? who is the person/ are the people? who takes care of lining up vendors for the show? the name of the vendor is American Trail Gear website: www.AmericanTrailGear.comthey are in Battle Ground, WA Is this the type of vendor you all want at the SAFE show? I know us endurance riders LOVE biothane cuz we can wash it in buckets or throw it in the dishwasher....

If no one else has already stepped forward, I will take this on again...providing we still want booths.

The booths were great-but I would like to see them closer to the action-between getting ready for a class, being in a class or watching another class-it wasn't so easy to make it over there to the booths as much as I would have liked. JMHO

one of the things the vendors, or some of the vendors, did at PNER convention was donate something to be raffled... the raffle was a HIT! would that kind of thing work at SAFE show...when would the raffle happen? between classes? is that too much to do? that photographer did a raffle last year-- it gets people TO the booths.....
