There was a Bint Magidaan that ended up on Craigslist in the summer of '06 that some of us thought about trying to rescue. The woman who had him had written in her Craigslist ad that she'd rescued him but could no longer keep him. I don't remember exactly what happened to him...she kept dropping his price until he sold adn I remember some of us were really worried that a killer buyer would get him. He was gelded by then, but that's all I remember. There was another Egyptian Arabian that was related to Bint that was bought by someone who was posting here briefly.
Does anyone have a better memory about the Bint thread than me? I can't find it, I think it went into archives. It's such a coincidence that he was discussed here for a while, I'm intrigued. I think someone posted something about Bint in one of the Elledge threads, but I can't find that either.
I sure hope he ended up in a good situation.[/quote]
I had to shake alot of dust off my memory, but I recall Bint . I think there was enuf donated $$ for him, but cant remember 100% what caused it to fail..
Yes its the same Bint - I made that connection a while ago. I can't recall the exact specifics also, but he was a horse advertised on CL in poor condition, they wanted him gone yesterday, and I think some people here were working on getting him when he found a home.
Last year I bought a horse who was said to be out of Seas the Golden Day and Impromptu who was bred in the spring and fall of 2005. I am trying to find any nformation on him as he was not registered since in owner was in trouble with the American Saddlebred Horse Ass. Does anyone out there have any info on my Palomino Gelding, He was a stallion up until 2 years ago and only bred once by the previous owner named Brandy Meyer of gabriola Island here in BC. Any info would be great as I'd like to register him?? I do have the breeding record which also includes Shell Game and Sundazzled breedings by CoCo. You can email me info at email@example.com and thanks so much for your help!
I don't think anyone uses this board anymore. I just got on here again to look up some info on my horse (who happens to be from the Jean Elledge seizure, too). If you're looking for info, I'd try contacting SAFE directly. They are also on facebook.
Good luck with getting your horse registered.
