Oh, no I can't afford to have another one, she is just here for a little while...to show my colt the horse stuff to prevent him from turning into his mother who we think may have been an orphan too, that would explain her social problems. I love baby wildfire, and hope she finds that special forever home.

True words...after all, the women who fought for the right to vote were thought of as dangerous in their time, too. Change never comes easily!

Hi Foxy, thanks for the offer to take pics of Baby...I think Horsecrazi is stopping by on the weekend...you can too if you want to see her....I'm going to try to have a garage sale...lots of stuff....even a new saddle with headstall and breastcollar i accidentally bought online. I need the money for vet bills...my little Beau is still having good days and bad...and I think I need to have the vet out again to do blood work....so...garage sale in Olalla this weekend and probably next too. Lots of stuff...goooood stuff. come see baby and beau.

Wildfire has been placed!! Congratulations to Pat of Olalla, WA!
She already has a new name for her, Sierra. She'll be living on 7 acres of gorgeous pasture with many other farm animals that are all pets. They are wonderful people who had excellent references, and take incredibly good care of their animals - they even brush and fly spray their cows!

The new owner found Sierra through a garage sale that Melissa (her foster) had. She isn't on the board, but we will certainly post updates from her as we get them and bug her frequently for photos.

Sierra is just moving 1/2 mile from where her current foster is. They are SO excited to get her. She will have a loving mom and dad and lots of little grand girls to play with! She also gets to make friends with mini donkeys, alpacas, mini cows, sheep, goats, chickens and dogs!

Here are a couple of updates from Sierra's new mom and dad:
"As I mentioned, I took last week off-we bonded very well-I THINK SHE LOVES ME!!!!-she is so willing to please-when I have her in halter and ask her walk forward she walks even without me giving any pressure-I have been walking her everyday in the field and hope to start some training soon-when she is out in the field and I go to get her I call her name and she comes to me-she is in the field with two donkeys and one cow and they are all getting along fine-the first day with the donkeys was quite a sight to see-they ran the field for about 20 minutes before settling down-everythign is fine now and they get nose to nose quite often-We will introduce the other three cows soon-We do have a digital camera-Larry has already taken a lot of pictures of her and I will have him e-mail them to you.
Thank you again for this opportunity-We love her dearly and I know this was a good thing for all of us involved."
