Two separate issues here. First of all, thanks Peggy for bringing my attention to the Petfinder ad. I didn't realize that photo was still on there so I will fix that.
Second of all, we do work really hard to continually update the ads on the horses we have available for adoption. It is a continual challenge when we have horses advertised here on this board, on the website, on dreamhorse, petfinder, etc. I do most of the ads and petfinder and Bonnie does the website. If anyone ever notices something that needs to be corrected on our ads, please do bring it to our attention so it can be corrected.
Secondly is the issue that the individual horse threads on this bulletin board become a running blog of the horse and not necessarily an "ad". When we learn new information about a horse or when something changes from our original perception/understanding of the horse over time, we generally don't go back and update the earlier posts, because they are factual representations of our understanding of the horse at that time.

let me add: this thread for HC was started in July 2007 after we decided not to continue with his training. The old thread was put into the archives at that time. This thread is up to date.

I was looking thru this thread and noticed the brands on this horse. We just received the current WA state brand book and the vb brand is listed with the owners name and address, they are in Mt. Vernon. Is anyone interested in this info?

He is a beautiful horse.

HC liked babysitting the boys. Or, perhaps, it was more a case of the boys foisting themselves on Honeycutt:

Poor Honeycutt....he stepped on a nail and ended up with an icky wound in his heel bulb. He's now enjoying wound flushing and huge penicillin shots. He's been an amazingly good boy through this ordeal so far, including a trip to the vet hospital -- he hopped right in the trailer without a fuss. Think healing thoughts!
