Yup, the seahorse blaze is one of his most endearing qualities. I can't remember who it was that first noticed it (Bonnie?), not long after we got him in 2005.

I once had a rescue kitty that I thought was so gorgeous that I started googling for animal talent agencies...and being in LA I knew that there had to be a bunch of them here. I think Honeycutt would be a perfect equine model...I bet there is an agency out there who would find "work" for him. I should look those sites up again to see if any of them are looking for horses.

He would be a great model! He is SO photogenic and I think he really enjoyed our little photo session I was looking through the photos and noticed his brands. Was any information ever found on them?

nope, nothing was ever found. But it sure seems like the information should be out there somewhere! If somebody wanted to do some research, it sure would be appreciated.
Funny you should mention this, Liz, because I was standing outside watching Honeycutt eat breakfast this morning and had the exact same thought...

I would love to look into it, I was thinking purchasing brand books anyway just because I think they're cool haha. I'll see what I can find.

Looking back through all of his pictures, I don't see any good "brand" photos. Does anyone have some good ones to post so we could all try a bit of research?

Honeycutt is FAT. And dappled. He is spending his days hanging out with Jay and Rhythm, and he will occasionally teach the little boy a thing or two about respect. He seems quite relaxed and happy these days. He's been very easy to approach lately; very friendly and curious.
In other words, he is GREAT! ;D

That's so good to hear Bonnie! HC is the sweetest guy, so he deserves to be fat and happy!

Is there a clear shot of his brands anywhere? I would be interested to find out his story.

I have a bunch of photos from when Honeycutt was with me here: s18.photobucket.com/albums/b144/schwung/Honeycutt/I have a few brand photos from when I researched it before. Here is one that is on his hip that I think confirms he was used as bucking stock, but its pretty blurry: and here is one showing where it is and kind of what it looks like: and here are the other two, all are on his left side:
