Sorry, for the last minute, but literally thats all we had. The owner sounds very nice but very stressed with all of this. It has taken a lot of nail biting and phone calls/emails to get this done so quick. For other rescues I have been working on foster homes and landing spots as well as haulers in King, Snohomish, Skagit and Whatcom counties. I have quite the list going. Yeah! help has arrived.

Well...guess I won't call you slew!
Her number was disconnected - at least the one I had?
Glad you got this figured out. Will it be a permanent home?

She contacted me following an email I sent her responding to her ad. Sounds great about the blankie, I will let the gal getting him know. Maybe we could send you $$ and have you ship it? I will call her once she is back on the road tomorrow and fill all of you in on his condition.

This is such great news - although I have to admit I was getting really excited for Lady to have a new man in her life!! I was just collecting all my extra horse gear from the basement, halters, shipping boots, etc, before I saw your post!
I have a nice (new) sheet that fits like an 80"...so if 84 is too big just let me know.
Please please post pictures of him in his new home!! He sounds like such a wonderful boy.
THANK YOU to EVERYONE who offered assistance. You guys are the absolute BEST!!!!!!!!! I am so impressed how everyone mobilizes so quickly.

We may have the blanket thing covered. If the one doesnt fit right, we may try the 80 you offered. Thanks so much! PICS will be up once he gets settled.

That was truly heart-warming. Nice work! I have a couple blankets I could send up, they're virtually brand new. 82 Schneiders mid-weight - fits my horse like a mini-skirt, but it's pretty nice; I also have an old 82 Everest turnout, it needs to be re-waterproofed. I'll get them cared for first, but it'll take a week or so. Let me know if that would help!
