Hi Janine - Diamondinkykin (Connie) here is his contact, and I'm sure you read that he is not started yet - if you are interested, read our adoption policies (under FAQ), and fill out an adoption application (under "Forms" at http://www.safehorses.org) - you might also want to take a look at the contract too.

Actually, I'm his contact (we switched it Jenny when Trey moved down here). But she can send the application to either of us. Janine - Trey isn't broke yet, so wanted to make sure you were aware of that.

Trey can cross tie!! Makes my life a ton easier when I am grooming him, and today, cross-ties were a much needed item. He got a good back end washing with lots of scrubbing as he was diirrrtyy! He has such a lovely tail and especially when it isn't matted down with dirt and other stuff! Anyway, just wanted to share Trey's new accomplishment...he is such a good boy.

Wanted to share some pictures of Trey enjoying the weather and eating an afternoon snack... He rolled as soon as the blankie came off!

Thanks, glad you think so! I wouldn't want him to be too fat, but a little extra cushion runs in the family at the Avery farm...

While Trey was scheduled to go into training this month, it does not look like SAFE will be able to afford it at this time due to the unexpected additional expenses related to Whiskey. If you would like to contribute to Trey's training fund, SAFE would greatly appreciate it! We aren't getting much interest in Trey as an untrained 3 year old, so getting him started under saddle is a critical step to helping him find a suitable home.

Due to the wonderful match donation offer from averycrzy4horses' mom, we decided to go ahead and get Trey's training started. He went today to the trainer, loaded great, and was completely calm and well-behaved at his new home. Here's some photos of him at Mara's, just after being cleaned up. Doesn't he look great? He's really filled out and looks more grown up than he did a few months ago!

He's super cute... a little time under saddle, and I bet he'll get snatched right up.
