awww, thanks...it was inspired by jaybird's derby hat & in a very similar scenario, something was missing until we added the greenery! This time I started out thinking just a strand of lavender/white carnations but then I passed this big beautiful flower on clearance for .89 and it all came together....very similar to the one we found in Shelbyville KY for jaybirds hat and it all came together very fast. Sometimes I think it's OCD, but I can't function until these ideas get out of my head, then I can move on! I'm happy with this one Thankfully these creative impulses happen at night or I would have been tempted to run it down to the barn and let Coconut model it. But I managed to get it in a box before I could tempt fate and get it dirty!! I can't wait to see it on someone!! So the Grand Champion better bring their horse in to get their award!! I WANT PHOTOS!!!

Do you have photo's of the "Adopt Me" sashes?? You are so creative, I swear I tried one on Sugar yesterday because she's an average size horse and it looked great! Pretty much they're the same as Monica's from last year.... ADOPT ME on one side and SAFE on the other. Sugar looked cute but IS NOT up for adoption!! She's very loved in her new family w/5 kids who are all riding now ... Happy Beginning for her!!

LOL Forgive me if this is the stupidest question yet, but does a dressage saddle pass as an English saddle? I want to enter Rusty in the English classes, but only my dressage saddle fits him. How about if I put a big fluffy white pad underneath? Will that fool the judges?

How about if I put a big fluffy white pad underneath? Will that fool the judges? I think that probably would work, but thats just coming from me, don't quote me on that! Also, that is very pretty! Extreamly creative! And There is a LOT of my friends that are going to be in the show! I spread the word all over school before it ended, and they spread it, so I know quite a lot of people who are going to be at the show! I hope we have a great turn out and I can't see how all the horses are gonna do!

Most of the SAFE horses will be in Dressage tack (I think Lexi will be in my jump saddle since the only small girth will be on Rhythm), since most of the SAFE riders are Dressage riders, so you will be in good company. Gald that you and Rusty will be able to be there!

Thanks ladies! I do hope to make it there. I have my vehicle and trailer in the shop right now getting the go-ahead for the long journey up there. I'm going to work with Rusty on Halter today. I hope he improves. It looks like I'm pulling a mule when trying to get him to trot in hand. Wish me luck.

Good luck Shannon!! I sure hope you and Rusty can make it -- we would be THRILLED to see him again.
And if you do come, please bring some art to display and/or sell at the Art Booth!!!

Noob question (OK I have a LOT of noob questions) Will the folks from here have name tags on with thier 'cyber names'? It might be nice to put names to faces to online names. Thanks!

Another bit question along with PK's hackamore question. When riding a sr. horse two handed......is the only bit you can ride a sr. horse two handed in, a ring snaffle or bosal or do shanked snaffles count. This bit thing is a little challenging!!

I think the rules are pretty lax regarding the horses headware, so long as there is something there. Kristi - are you bringing Petersburg Knight? I have followed his story since Cat featured him and the BS around a certain someone who took him right back to Enumclaw and I have wanted to meet him!
