It's time to get the farm ready for weather so we've designated the following work parties and need volunteers...lots and lots of volunteers. The more we have the less workload for everyone.
Work Party #1 - Sunday 9/13
Work Party #2 - Sunday 9/20 **changed**
Please RSVP to me about which one you can attend.
These work parties will help get the paddocks ready for the upcoming fall/winter usage. I think we have a noble shelter to put up as well.
Your help in this will be GREATLY appreciated! We look forward to seeing you out there ;D
9/13 RSVP list: Catrina Julia +1 Betsy Emily Leslie
9/20 RSVP list: Coconut Lynn M Abby +1 Margaret +1 Leslie - pending Jenny + Bill - pending Steve Jean Brooke Colleen Jennifer Cami Anthony Sharesa

Is there a specific start time that we're shooting for? I'm going to suggest 10am If someone can't get there til later or needs to leave early, that's ok too, but lets get as many people as possible to start out the day.

I've added an RSVP list to the #1 post in this thread, if you can make it but are not on the list, please let me know asap. It would be optimal to have 10 people or more each day to get all of these projects completed.

I am already coming on the 20th so I've made other plans for the 13th and 19th. I wish I could be there. If there is anything left to do on the 20th I'm your woman!

Forgive me guys but I am going to move the 9/19 work party to 9/20. One of my closest friends is having a belated baby shower on the 19th and I would really like to attend, if at all possible. Hope this isn't too confusing! Also people should bring gloves, metal rakes, a shovel, if you have them. We have a few but not enough. We may need a few more tools, I am trying to remember what kinds of tools we needed to put the shelters together last time but drawing a blank. Maybe farmboy will jump in with a list! Thanks!!!! Oh, and SAFE will provide pizza for lunch on both work party days.

Cordless drills and any of those ladders that you can configure in different shapes (like scaffolding) would be helpful.

Cool. I will be there with my tools. First I will do my poop patrol and then dive into the heavy stuff.

My husband and i will be there on 9/13. We'd love to build another shelter We'll bring metal rakes, and a shovel or two. Oh, and our cordless drill as well. Do we need to bring drill bits?
