Yes, this is where Zan and Calamity, our two new horses came from as we had agreed to take them in as owner-surrenders. I had no idea when we picked them up that there were other horses or all those other animals on the property! The stench from the property was unbelievable, and we didn't even go on it, they led the horses through the mud to the trailer on the road.

Because I used to breed and sell minis I'm always worried one will end up in a neglect situation--one of mine was, but the rescue involved wouldn't let me buy her back (perhaps because even though I wasn't actually breeding anymore, one of my horses was a stallion that's since been gelded). I read that most of the horses involved in this case are minis.
To find out more about the minis, would I contact Rusty Bar Ranch? Or The Humane Society?

Rusty Bar Ranch is a contract foster home for animals seized by Pierce County Animal Control. I would suggest that you contact PCAC since they seized the animals.
