Did you register Ariel? I really have no idea how that all works. I would love to transfer Amber to my name, but would have no idea how to go about it, with the Elledge ordeal. Do you have any insights on that? Thanks.  |

If you would like help doing a paper transfer, send me a PM and I can run you through the entire process. It works differently on horses who are already papered... much easier than on unregistered ones.

I can't register Ariel without Jean Elledge's signature because she is the breeder. I can't find her and I doubt that she would sign the paperwork even if I could track her down.
I've thought about trying to register her as a half Arab since I can prove that Amber is her dam, since she was born while in SAFE's care. That might be a little easier. Not sure.
You should be able to register Amber in your name with the paperwork from the county seizure and animal abuse court documents. Fanaberia would be a great resource for you since she went through the same process with Khramer (Ariel's assumed sire).
