You need to find a trainer that will work WITH you with this horse. Obviously, sooner rather than later or someone is going to get hurt.

This board has a lot of people in the southend, I'm sure someone can come up with a suggestion for you. You should post how far away you will send him, how much you can afford to pay for training/board and what your goal for him is. That will help narrow down who could help you best.

I've heard really good things about Bruce Hall from multiple people, but have never used him myself. I know he does 3 day and 7 day clinics every month. He works with you and your horse. brucehallsensiblehorsehandling.com/I'd recommend my trainer, but since he's only a yearling, I think something like what Bruce does might be more beneficial for you. Whoever you decide to use, you should definitely get help ASAP before you get hurt!

Also, before you work on bathing and "nonessential" stuff like that, I'd try to teach him the basics (i.e. learing to respect you) first. It will make the other stuff easier to do anyway.
