If all goes well and I am able to come with (or without) Summer, I will help where I can, including riding SAFE horses.

I got the aug. email and noticed you still need some volunteers for certain things. My boyfriend is coming to the show with me and he had assumed that I signed him up for some sort of volunteer work, but I hadn't, so he said he could do something. I figure he could help out with parking if that's needed. Or if there's something else you need, let me know. He knows way more about horses than I do, plus if you need some muscle he's your guy.

cyann, thanks. LOL at conscripting your boyfriend as a volunteer! I am sure shekaberry will find something for him!
I am not sure who will be helping me in the show office - so that is definitely a possibility (unless shekaberry has found someone, or Emily is going to do it?). It gets pretty hectic in there.
I hope whoever helps me will know answers to any western questions - I am pretty weak in that area.

I am hoping that Emily can help again, but I've not confirmed with her. Mostly what we needed at the last show were folks that are willing to and can help in any area needed, from parking, to poop, to manning a booth. Muscle is always appreciated

I'm going to suggest that any volunteers that come should check in at the show office. I'm going to guess that they'll be pretty busy from 8-8:30 so come early if you can and be patient if we can't get an assignment to you right away ... I'm sure there will be something for you to do so please be patient with the show office staff...they're volunteers too

Do we have radios like last year? Should I see if I can get my sister's again?

If possible, having two walki-talkis would be perfect. One for the ring-steward to announcer and one for the in-gate to announcer.

And Kristen offered to be Barn Manager...get there early and help organize the filling of stalls on show day & kind of keeping an eye on things through the day ... I'd suggest one of our spares take shifts on that as well to give everyone a chance to watch the show and enjoy the day for a few hours Announcer's assistant is Stephanie
