At our lunch/half time break, we're going to have a few activities going on:
A driving demonstration by Jackie Dougherty & friends featuring Mini's, ponies & horses in various carts. They're very excited about coming and showing us all other things that can be done with our equine friends! You won't want to miss it!!
The NONY Parade! The Nonies will be available for purchase at the Tack Sale booth for just $5 and come in various temperments & colors. They each have their registration papers and will automatically be entered in the Nony Parade/Class at half time...with award ribbons!!! Be sure to tell your young horse fans to come out and support SAFE by adopting a Nony of their very own & getting to show it too ;D
And....of course.... The Parade of Rescues ...featuring all the SAFE horses who are coming to the show and horses from several other rescues that are available for adoption as well. This is an exciting time to see just how beautiful and special rescued equines are.
Be sure tell your friends who might be in the market for a horse to come because there aren't too many opportunities to have such a selection of horses to meet at one time!

I only have three of the pads, english style only and didn't have time to get any more, but everyone (including Class Act) will have a sash! I'll also be making stall signs for them.
I am envisioning that the parade of rescues will be under saddle for those that are ridable and in hand for those that are not. You can ride it at whatever gait you are comfortable with.

The Nonies are all very excited (and very ready to be out of my house!!!) They'll be hairless when I get there, but will have manes very quickly!!

Sure, I can probably use both of you! But I still need extra hands for showmanship/halter....

I would love to do either one (showmanship or halter) except I am so rusty and will be giving out ribbons...maybe I can get someone to give out the ribbons for those events we want to enter our babies in, if you forgive my rustiness on showing. My experience was 4H from 35 years ago *sigh*
