Hurray for Whisper! What a STUNNER she has turned out to be. Just beautiful. Such a transformation from her very sad circumstance she came from. Just amazing. Congratulations to everyone who worked so hard to see her thru to success. ;D

I have to say that I continue to be amazed at how well she recovered. I really did not think she was ever going to look this good. What a tough little horse. I can't wait to hear about her new home!

It's so awesome to see so many horses getting homes!
In the last month and a half, there have been 3 horses going home, and more pending.
Go Whisper!

The Snohomish Sheriff had no part in Whisper's rescue - it was City of Snohomish Police that came to Whisper (and her pasturemates aid.)
One of the SCSO Animal Control Officers actually berated rescuers for trying to help Whisper - her answer was to have Whisper put down immediately.
I'm sure glad that none of us listened to her!

Oh...I'm sorry , there is a difference between the two offices and now, as I recall it, wasn't it the chief himself that was so touched by this case that he acted to get help for them!? I had forgotten that it was on a much more local basis but THANKFULLY you all acted in time for these horses And look what was accomplished!!! Well done!

I'll be on the look out for updates. Whisper really means a lot to me. She was the horse who made me aware of what is going on in the rescue world and has been my incentive to keep trying to do more. I'm very happy to hear she has a new loving home
