This really does bring tears to my eyes, thinking back to the long hard winter she had. She truly looks so majestic!

Wow, just WOW! Those pictures are so amazing, I can hardly believe that is the same horse. She is georgeous. A heartfelt thank you to everyone that worked so hard to save her. Job well done.

Great writing, as usual, Monica! I was one of those skeptics on Whispers ability to come back from where she was. She was worse than the Saddlebreds, IMO. She looks so good now and, dare I say, pretty

So I took Sera for a ride today, to make up for her being "neglected" while I was on my month-long Europe/Egypt trip. As we were coming back down the trail, I noticed a familiar rear end through the trees..... And the only one that didn't turn out blurry....

Oh those are great photos Barbara!! Yes, that's our girl, she's right on that trail but it didn't occur to me that one of her fans might spot her! That last photo cracks me up, she looks HUGE, like a jersey cow! Never thought I would say THAT about Whisper!

She's kind of hard to miss with that coloring, plus she's really clean and looks GOOD so I always take a second look (of appreciation) at horses like that.
She is one happy gal though. I tried to talk to her but she was REALLY busy happily munching on her nice grass!

BTW; check out her pretty eyelashes in the last photo. They make her look adorable. She's awful cute in person. Pretty sure Jersey cows don't have those :-)

Wow. I just checked and Pinto is still doing hardship registrations for mares and geldings. That means they will register mares and geldings with unknown parentage which allows them to compete in all Pinto shows and events (of which there are many!) Here are the forms: www.pinto.org/forms.htmlI am sure this filly is 100% Paint, but if there is no chance of getting the paperwork, she can still be Pinto and that is a very active show circuit in this area. There are six approved Pinto shows this year, all in Spanaway. You can have a Pinto representative inspect and temporarily register the filly at most of the shows.

She looks amazing, you would never know what she has been through. Good info too, Cat; how awesome would it be to see Whisper in a rated show!
