Laurie - I am about 30-40 minutes north of Carnation. Is that too far for you? I'd love to have you haul her, that would give you an excuse to visit too!

Yeah, that would actually make a lot of sense - I highly recommend Trillium for hauling. They have a beautiful, safe trailer and are VERY careful, slow drivers.
I'm happy for Ariel - she is such an absolutely lovely filly!

Laurie, I sent you an email to your hotmail account. I already booked this with Bob Hubbard (and paid), but it might not be too late to cancel. I couldn't find their cancelation policy on their website.

Makes me sad too that she is leaving, but it is great she has a home and it reflects that SAFE is doing a great job and fulfilling it's mission. I will miss her breathing down my back as I pick the pasture, and poor Scottie. Who will he bug now?

Oh don't worry about Scotti...he'll get to have Sinatra as a buddy and those two couldn't be more alike in temperment...they will get along great.

Sinatra and Scotti? Oh boy, get your cameras ready!! I sure will miss Ariel's nose kisses, but I am so happy she will have her own person!

Ariel is on her way to her new home! Congratulations Christine! And many thanks to Laurie for hauling her, it made the parting a little easier for me knowing that she was in Laurie and Kurt's hands for the haul down.
Good luck with her Christine and please post lots of photos and updates!

What a little cutie Ariel is. Christine is going to have so much fun with her.
Since I happenedd to be in the neighorhood yesterday, LOL, I am so happy I could help out and meet all the SAFE horses at Jamies.

Thank you for bringing her safely home, Laurie!
It looks like Ariel is taking a little snooze in the sun right now. She and my gelding are getting along great. My mare is another story, but I have her separated for now, so she has some more time to get used to the idea.

I've been anxiously awaiting an update on how she is doing. Glad to hear she is settling in well! Biscotti is really missing her, poor guy.

Update: Ariel is still doing great. We love this sweet little girl! I tried to get a better picture of her, but she kept following me and I was just getting shots up her nose until my gelding walked up and distracted her.
