OMG - he is ADORABLE!! What kind of injuries does he have? He sure is flashy, very unusual coloring, and what a funny little tail!!

He is absolutely adorable. (I LOVE donkeys and mules, myself.)
Good for Jackson, he's found a great home!

OMG - he is ADORABLE!! What kind of injuries does he have? He sure is flashy, very unusual coloring, and what a funny little tail!! Current opinion is he has an abcess in his back foot that be a 'brewin. Which is a much better diagnosis than what could have been his problem (laminitis) as word on the street was he got into the grain barrel and ate a good bit of it before he came to Lisa's. He is so funny - he looks disgusted all the time and when you pet him, you really have to watch him carefully for any signs that he is in ANYWAY enjoying what you are doing. But, if you move away and just stand there, he will slowly (and I am talking the very definition of the phrase "slower than molasses in January") sidle over to you for more pets and scritches. I am absolutely head over heels in love with this guy. This is the kind of donkey that if you need a shoulder to cry on - this be the one - he ain't movin' for NUTTIN! ;D

He is too cute! My neighbors just got a donkey...his name is Ralph and he HEE HAW HAW HAW HAW HAWs all the time. Especially at 3am! He is a stud too. Oh boy! I am about to go add another strand of electric to my fence, ha ha ha. He is super friendly although I tend to think some of his friendliness is studiness. But overall he is pretty nice. He comes to the fence and hee haws at you when he wants you to come over and pet him. The kids run along the outside of the fence and he runs along the inside...over and over and over. They had him with their BIG old Appy gelding and he was getting his butt whooped so now he is alone again. Donkeys are curious things
