We're ALL tired... the sale had it's moments. Some VERY GOOD even. What a lot of work. Valerie, YOU made it happen.
WE all thank YOU for your endless hours of hard work and dedication. I continue to be flat out amazed by the utter love I see in the efforts made for these horses. It's nothing short of inspirational.
Redmond!....GO TO Bed! Get some rest and know you are loved and appreciated ;D

I have the final totals for the day.
The total amount that was given to us in cash and checks totalled:
$1,734.20
There are a few items that were saved out:
Solid Oak Dining table - can seat 6 with 2 leaves. No chairs. I took this home because it was too valuable to leave in the "take it for free pile". If anyone is local to me (Monroe) and wants it - I will sell it to you for $50.00
A solid silver covered Bible. I will be taking this to be appraised. It has a "to - from" inscription dated 1965. Have no idea if this is worth alot of money or not.
The baseball card collection went home with Jet and her husband to craigslist them off in a solid bulk sale. Those proceeds will go directly to SAFE.
I will be mailing the checks to Bonnie. I will deposit the cash in our account and write SAFE a check for $1500.00.
I will apply the $234.20 toward my disposal fees and prorated storage on the large locker.
The dining table sale will go toward my gas costs.
The bible.....well - if it's only worth $50.00 or so - that will also go toward my gas costs. If it's worth $1,000 - that will all go to SAFE. We shall see!

WOW, that is incredible! You all are so awesome. Whenever I did yard sales to help out for clubs/organizations, they were always a huge hit.

Wow. I am simply amazed! It sounds like it was an immense amount of work to pull it all together so I hope that, in the end, the feeling is that it was worth it.
