What a wonderful update. It's so great to hear how these two are progressing. I just shudder to think of the pain they've experienced in the past.

Look at her go!! What a change from the first video, she even threw a spunky little canter in there! It brought tears to my eyes, I'm just so happy for this mare Beautiful, brave Isabelle for sure

Kittie is the same way - it is just AMAZING how much they change after a few good weeks of food! She has been zooming around with the weanlings like a wild woman.
Isabella is a CUTE mover. I see short stirrup hunter written all over her. She will be darling!

I'm new to this forum, Cat sent me the link~ because I wanted to learn more about Pie and Isabella.
My room-mate and I had the unfortunate job of living on this 'ranch' with Pie, Bella (Isabella), Kittie, and Mister.
We just wanted to thank all of you from the bottom of our hearts for the support and kindess you have sent out to the horses than we fell deeply in love with.
We were in the 'ranch hands' at this place and it was nothing shy of hell. It was simply heartbreaking that we constantly had to beg the owners for food and care for all the horses.
We are really overwhelmed with the love you all have for Pie, Bella, Mister and Kitty.
We miss Pies sense of humor~ he cracked us up constantly~ he is always up to some kind of shenanigans~ Bella's soft forehead that I loved to rest my head upon~ and her love for fruit cups. Kitty is the best snuggler. Before she left I just hugged her for well over 20 minutes~ I just couldn't let go~ and she would glance back at me like she understood. Mister~ so royal. I love the looks on his face when I would sing bad country songs to him while I was filling his water~ which he loves to tip over and over!
We just can't thank you all enough. It means the world to us. This ranch hand job has been the worst ever~ so hearing these great stories of our babies getting what they need is very helpful.
So, from my roomy and I~ thank you.

Shanessa, you obviously cared very much for these horses and it is so frustrating to watch owners not care. Pie, Bella, Mister and Kitty could not have landed with a better group than with SAFE; rest assured that they will be cared for and loved for the rest of their lives.

Shanessa, I'm working at the barn Pie and Isabella are currently at (and have been posting the YouTube videos of them). They are both such great horses and all of us at the barn are so happy to be able to help them out. I would LOVE to pick your brain about them - if you know anything about their history (like why Isabella seems to love kids so much) and any insight you might have on them. If you wouldn't mind that, my e-mail is DancerSkye@gmail.com
Thanks.

Hi Shanessa! Thank you for caring so much about Pie and Bella...they are very special individuals, as you know. We are all looking forward to seeing them recover and grow strong again, and I'm sure you will be very pleased at the results. Thank you for sticking your neck out to get them to safety! And happy birthday!!

We visited Pie and Isabella tonight and all I can say is - WOW! They are both gaining so much weight already. Isabella has put on an amazing amount already and is a totally different horse - bright, friendly, even a little pushy! Pie was always bright and friendly, but now you can see his hips filling out and his ribs covering over. The girl who works there feels Isabella probably is broke, that she knows too much to be "just a broodmare." So it will be interesting to see once she has regained enough weight to evaluate her!

Thanks so much for arranging our visitation with Pie and Bells!!!! It was the best birthday present EVER! The kind that make you sleep better at night. It was great to meet all of you that love Pie and Bella everyday. Thanks again. It's been EXTREMELY hard watching all the horses go to homes I don't agree with~ so to see this, relaxes my heart. I look forward to seeing Mizz Kitty and Mister soon!!! I can't wait to hug that little Kitty and play with Mister!
Thanks again~ your kindness still amazes me
