What a good girl - boy she looks so teeny in that last photo. Did she have a lot of hooks and points?
Her mind just must be blown by all this attention and food and care. Thank you WLF for being such a good steward! Please give her a neck scritch (if she likes that) from old auntie CC...

She is a very tiny girl. She is maybe 13.2(I will stick her tonite) and very petite......we will have to hire a very petite trainer! The sad thing is her mom was full size....I have the sad feeling this little one has been malnourished her whole life. But she is sound of mind and body and there is no reason she could not make a kids horse! Her mouth had ramps and hooks and the beginnings of a wave that he corrected. She has always had a hard time chewing so I think this will help her a lot!

Heidi was a NAUGHTY girl tonite! Juliane came over to borrow Parelli for the weekend and went to Heidi's stall to give her some loves.... the next thing I see is Heidi taking a bite at Juliane's face!?!?!?!?! She did connect but did not do major trauma....thank god! When she came to me she was virtually unhandled after being in a pasture with her mother and aunt for 10years with very little handling and she would frequently offer to bite and kick but I never had the "malicious" feeling about it......she had simply never been taught to treat people different from horses, and we were asking a LOT of new things from her outside her comfort zone. This behavior had completely disappeared over the last few weeks.......tonite was different......she was fractious in her stall and full of enegy and she treated Juliane just like a horse she did not want in her space.......VERY NAUGHTY!!!! She is sweet and smart and a good girl but she needs a JOB!!!! Time for training!

Oh, OUCH. I hate it when I am around a horse that bites. That is the one time they can count on a severe correction from me.

Heidi just needs a job. Fast. She is not stupid. She was dancing around while Chelsea was trying to take her blanket off so that I could get naked pictures ...and so I offered to help. I took hold of her and just glared at her and said ENOUGH, YOU'RE FINE and she totally gave up and stood still. So she is not dumb...just spoiled/uneducated. She will do fine with a good trainer! With blanket today: And without!

P.S. The way she is gaining weight, if you don't get her out of Chelsea's and off to training quickly, she is going to look like this and then she's going to need to go to a fat farm instead. (Apologies to Sarge. But he is a moose!)

Heidi is looking great. Good job Chelsea.
Cat, it looks like you took a road trip and took pictures of all the pretty horses. Lucky girl.

Completely and utterly amazing transformation! And nice pictures, too!
Love the rear angle shots that show her bloody shoulder marking!

Thank you soooooo much for being my personal photographer!!! I love it when you take pics of my ponies! Liz the funny thing is that is a sweat mark. She sweats in the middle of that shoulder and in the middle of one haunch......kinda wierd but yes it looks exactly like a bloody shoulder marking......she is such a good girlie! Although she did not want much to do with my attempts to clip her little goat hair covered ears LOL

Wow! She looks amazing! What a beautiful horse, and a beautiful mover! Juliane, you take amazing photos, wow.
I knew what a bloody shoulder was but was trying my darndest to find one in the pictures. I saw the sweat mark but its not visible in the earlier photos so I thought I was losing it.
Anyway, Chelsea, did you say she's only around 10 years old? I can't wait for Monica to bring her around....she goes to the trainer next weekend!
