Honeycutt is doing just great! He had a visit the other morning from a little girl and her mom. Honeycutt was as good as gold, and was quite fascinated with his guests:

If I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times, He is the absolute best looking horse, he's dear to my heart since he was on the lot that same time as Ginger. He always seems like a spirit that they could not break down, I'm sure he had a horrible past before coming to SAFE, someday I believe he'll make a great partner for someone.

I'm thinking that if we really want world peace, we would send horses as our ambassadors, not people, and Honeycutt seems well suited.
Dignified, handsome... alright, maybe random pooping would be a problem....
But this image is definitely a SAFE poster.

Look at how relaxed and soft his eye is with his visitors! He must like children Some horses with traumatic pasts relate better to female handlers rather than male; perhaps that is the case with this beautiful boy?

All of these comments scream S.A.F.E. CALENDAR

All of these comments scream S.A.F.E. CALENDAR I agree! ;D But -- also SAFE notecards (to be sold through the website, at booths at street fairs, etc.). (And at my desk at the office, LOL. "You've got an ASAP? Say, have you seen these new SAFE notecards?") The cool thing about notecards - they are not calendar year specific..... There are many truly awesome photos of SAFE horses on the message board alone. And of course, Honeycutt is some kinda gorgeous, god bless Bonnie. met

What a great idea. A SAFE Calendar - featuring past and present SAFE Horses!

looks who's tiny: That's Jaime's horse Grand Slam next to him. Honeycutt LOVES Slam, follows him everywhere, always stands right behind him. It's cute. But I never realized how tiny HC was until I saw them together. Of course Slam is monstrous, so maybe it's not fair to compare them.

Oh...my Slam-Man. My little Slam-I-Am. My big sweet loverboy. How I miss kissing that nose. But geez - Slam does have 2 1/2 hands on HC. HC would look like a monster too if he was standing next to a 13.1h pony!

Oh how cute they are!!!!!! I love how all the horses are looking at the camera in the first picture! I really like HC's blaze, and how it is "notched" at the top. He really is a handsome horse!
As far as calendars and notecards go, I will have many more photos after this book project is done!
