With the wind chill at my house barely above 0 degrees I thought that I would make my horses a hot mash for dinner but I have no clue how to do that Here is what I have on hand: Strategy Sweet feed Rolled oats Beet Pulp Flax seed Molasses Apples Carrots Any one have any recipe ideas

Hmm...well wheat bran works the best for a good mash, but I think you could make it out of what you have. Strategy doesn't mash well, if memory serves correctly (I think it will if you wait long enough however), but I bet you could do something with the beet pulp (if you horses like it, mine don't!), sweet feed and/or molasses for taste, and apples and carrots make it all the yummier.
I think I will do the same with mine tonight!
