Mac is looking for his forever home. He had an umbilical hernia that was corrected in the beginning of December, and is now looking for a home of his own. His adoption fee is $800, but a generous donator has offered to pay half so the adoption fee is $400. You can read more about Mac and find an adoption application at helpingequines.proboards105.com/Here he is at the auction he was rescued from (his third auction in 6 months) Here he is under saddle, with an experienced 14 year old girl riding him.

Poor guy, why 3 auctions in the last 6 months? Glad that he is safe.

He had an umbilical hernia, and that is the only reason we can think of. Leo states he is well mannered, and doesn't have any obvious holes in his training, personality, or soundness.
His hernia was operated on December 5th, and he has healed with just a little bump. It is not anywhere near the size of the original hernia.

We'll be sending Mac to finishng school - my 'almost' 6 year old Grandson is showing true heart felt interest in learning the innies & outies of the horse world. Gramma Gala has been taking Liam to riding lessons for the past 18 months - he LOVES it! So while Liam continues in riding lessons and Mac is being fine tuned - somewhere in the future the two will meet. We avoid the rookie/greenie mix!! Mac has 2 of his very own boy kids to teach with no rush & by the time #2 Grandson (almost 3) is up and ready for his own horse...His Lordship Fin will be out of school & waiting! Thanks you guys - Mac is out of the auction circuit & no pun intended...safe!

Congratulations!! He is such a good looking fella. Given the time and training he will be a great kids horse. I look forward to seeing some pics.

Is he there yet? I spoke with Andrea earlier this afternoon & she said they would be staying with you tonight...I am so very excited for Mac. Please, please give him a big hug for me..when I loaded him in that trailer he looked so betrayed, I promised him he would love his life with you. I can hardly wait for you to meet him.
