Yeah, ok, I'm a sucker, yesterday I got that free QH mare from CL Portland...you may recall the classic quotes "I'm young and I need a young horse" and "I need a horse I can ride bareback." She is a sweetheart. Just can't eat hay anymore, hence the condition. She is inhaling orchard-grass-pellet-mush like crazy! So if any other Craigslist addicts were worried about her...here she is. Safe, sound and eating my wallet. www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=4455222www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=4455220www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=4455219

LOL ... just don't go work for a facility with two hundred and twenty five stalls.
That is proving to be a hazardous condition for me!

hey Cat, I happen to know of a rescue who has funds available to care for rescued horses, but doesn't have anywhere to put them. Seems like you and this rescue should...I don't know...team up, or something! I'd hate to see your wallet get eaten. Good wallets are so hard to find.

Bump...
So - did you decide on a name for her?

Yes! Her name is Clover and she is doing much better. Here are more recent pics: She went home tonight with Seahorse to complete her rehabilitation. After that, we will see if she can go back to any kind of work and decide on her future from there. She is sound, so it's just a matter of putting the rest of the weight on and then seeing what we have!
