Thank you to everyone who has offered to help! I just discovered that it is SUPER easy to post a picture from Facebook onto this BB: 1) Open the photo on Facebook 2) Right click or CNRL-click (on the Mac) on the photo 3) Select Copy Image Address 4) Come back to the BB, start a new post on the horse's thread 5) Paste the image address. (CNRL-V or CMD-V) 6) Highlight the image address and add the IMG tag by clicking the 4th button in the second row. You should now see something that looks like this: sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc4/hs950.snc4/74354_10150297165880262_389354740261_15588247_7793286_n.jpg[/img ] (note: I added an extra space to this example so the code would show, don't do that)7) hit preview 8) when you're done adding photos, hit Post. easy! If you guys who have time and want to help could start doing this, that would be awesome! You can copy and paste written updates from faceBook as well. If you want to post here and let people know which horse you're working on, that'll help avoid duplicating work. thank you!!!!!

I tried this and can't get it to work. I think it's because of #3 (above). When I right click on a photo in facebook, I don't have an option to "Copy image address." There's "Copy shortcut" or just plain old "copy." What am I missing?

Hey Cricket, It is #3. When you right click with a pc, select Properties from the menu, the image URL address will be listed there. Copy and paste then add the image tags.

I have an army of Administrative Volunteers who would love to do reference checks and a few who would delight in site checking so Sampson can go to a new home. Send me the deets and I'll git 'er done.

I sent Sampson's app to Coconut, can you check with her and see if she needs help? Obviously we want to complete this as quickly as we can.

I'm sure the workload must be huge for you guys. I know I'm not much help way out here as a volunteer but as an adopter I would have never gotten involved if the only Web visibility of SAFE was Facebook. I'm sure you ladies have a handle on which venue is the most successful for SAFE. My opinion is FB is a great way to grab peoples attention out in the ether and point them back to the SAFE website. FB is so random and busy it is difficult to really focus on an issue. FB is where everyone says "hello," the website is where the "business" end of things get done. Just my two cents.

This is exactly what I meant--you said it better. :-) Side note ~ I was able to copy a photo from fb (Honeycutt). I got it to work on my work computer, but not on my laptop last night. I'll have to play around with it more.

I've had some computer issues lately so sorry I haven't chimed in too much...but I would also suggest to anyone who comes and just reads this board to please post here. One sure way to make sure it goes away is not to participate. I like that there's been more to read lately but sometimes I've come here and there was nothing new for days. Keep up the chatter, that's what makes this board so great and the community so strong. I REALLY enjoy all you have to say

I also don't post very often, but I constantly check the board for updates on the horses and to follow things.
I agree things are easier to follow on the BB then on FB.

I'm new to loging on but have been reading your BB for a couple years (ever since my daughter started working with Andrea on the Safe horses). I mostly read the posts from work and don't have access to FB.
FYI-Sharon says her next horse will be a draft cross after working with Delilah!!
