She is filling out pretty good, its her topline that is still not good, but, she has regained the big quarter horse butt, she is quite the looker, she is tall and short bodied, very long legs that have now slimed down, and muscled up, her hair is soft like a rabbit too. I cant wait to see her this summer, and I just bought her a new tail...black braided fabric. She is now so mellow, sweet as pie. I ponied her around with Tate last week, she walked in prefect step with her buddy Tate, they both seemed so proud to have a job, they are retired. But this summer Ginger will once again carry a rider, but, just little neighbor children around the yard.

Wow...Ginger looks great!! Does she like her beautiful shelter more these days? I seem to remember her preferring to stand outside of it, but it's so lovely.
Tate looks like a very healthy and happy 25!

Ginger loves her stall, although they are never locked in it, they both go in at dark. Tate was rescued 3 years ago, I was told she was a show horse, turned broodmare, and even hyperovulated her eggs for surrogates, I was given her foal date, but, not registered name, I know she was at a breeding farm then sent to slaughter, was saved by Kuitan rescue, part of the Adoption was no info to me except foal date. Tates training is exceptional and she has no health concerns at all even at her age, so, I think she must have had great breeding, even my farrier comments on her great feet. She 15.2 h, althought she looks small in the pic, she is not. Ok, I'm just going on and on....sorry I just love her so.

Both your ladies look lovely! These oldies are so precious - they have all of life's lessons to share if we just listen! Great job with those two.

Ginger has been one of my favorites ever since I saw her on the CBER website. I am so happy she's got such a great home and a good pal to hang with!

Thanks safehorses, she was my favorite too, I first seen her on CBER at the feedlot, I fell in love then, but, since I could only have 2 horses, I hesitated, thinking I wanted a sound horse, but, then I never stopped thinking about her, and thank God, SAFE had her, so, I did it..I'm so glad, we love her.
