Hi sdoyle - thank you for your interest in Dory. To make an appointment to see Dory, go to our website and download an adoption application here: www.safehorses.org/about/policies.htmlYou can then email the completed version back to us at adopt@safehorses.org. We will contact you to arrange for you to meet Dory at her foster home in Snohomish. Thanks and let me know if you have any questions!

If Dory is anything like her dam, she'll make an AWESOME trail horse. I was at Skyland Ranch the other day and I got to ride April for 2 hours on the trails, and she was a complete sweetheart. She responded well to the reins as well as leg pressure. If Dory is like her mom, I would be the first in line to adopt her (If only I had somewhere to keep her).

So I was talking to my friend Andrea yesterday and she mentioned that she was supposed to come up to visit Dory on Saturday and some of the other horses at SAFE for possibly adopting one of them. If for whatever reason she doesn't remember my information. I will vouch for her as a referral. She's an awesome lady and would make a great home for any horse.

Dory is moving to a new foster home that will hopefully turn into an adoptive home if it goes well.

Dory is not going to be moving to a new foster home after all. Interested party decided to opt for an older horse than take on the challenge of a young horse. So, still available!

That is a shame, the foster/adpoter looked like a great home.

Aw, thats too bad. Dory looks amazing though, far cry from the skinny ugly thing from winter 2008.

Is she being trained? Or just stitting and growing

Just sitting and growing and getting some groundwork, she's only 2.

True... Has she started lounging? Or does she know how?
