I can do Clearview Feed and the Hitching Post in Snohomish. Also, there was a western clothing store on the Bothell Everett highway in Bothell - I could check and see if they are still around.

Ya know, they had the exact pair that caught my eye but in black and turquoise , however, I'm just hung up on the whole pink nose thing right now...and Sadly the other two Renton Western Wear stores did not have them...although Puyallup did say that they JUST transfered their pair to the catalog, which means I'll have to order them! Dang but...ADVENTURES in Postering took me on some pretty interesting searches today. At the Puyallup Fair Grounds they were setting up for the Dennis Reis event and I told the guard we wanted to find someplace to post about our show. He suggested we get it up in time for the event this weekend because there would be lots of people. He gave us a pass and let us drive on in. My son and I wandered around for awhile and saw no humans except drivers of some very fancy trailers. When I finally caught sight of someone walking with things in his hand I asked if there was an office or central area to post and he said he didn't know because he was part of the Dennis event. He did inquire about what I was doing and listened to the short story about rescuing locally. His name was Chris and was very sympathetic. Eventually we figured out where there was a board and posted the show packet. My son (who's 22) had the best time just wandering around the grounds with no one there. It's a very different place than fair time!! He didn't get into any trouble though but was actually quite amazed at how easy it was to get into a big facility like that. That, however, was not our biggest challenge of the day. The Lazy K tack & feed located at 2828 Emerald Downs Rd ended up being on the far side of the barns and you have to go through security to get in there. Somehow we passed and got ourselves visitors passes to mosey around the barns looking for Lazy K. That's a pretty interesting place. By the time we found Lazy K I realized that this might not be the ideal place to get show participants but after what we went through to find it I wasn't going to leave without trying. It turns out to be a trailer off the east side of barn 10 and when I told the guy I was with SAFE....his eyes got HUGE & I realized instantly that rescue and racing folks aren't always the closest of friends so I smiled real pretty and said "we've done allot of seizure rescues, not necessarily OTT rescues" and proceeded to ask him if he'd heard about the case in Feb...etc....that took him down several levels of comfort and he ended up offering to post our show info by the door so people could see it when they leave. As we were walking away I told my son I figure there are probably lots of 'workers' who may have personal horses that might be interested in the show so hopefully it was not all for nothing. As we got almost back to the racing commission office/security they called five minutes to post so there was allot of action going on. The guy from Lazy K actually passed us again in his golf cart and gave us a friendly wave so I think we didn't send off too much of an alarming message by our presence there today. Boy am I tired though....I've been all over and I could use a nap..I think I'll take one...like ALL DAY tomorrow

17302 Pacific Ave S, Spanaway was the address I went to and it's an empty store with a For Lease sign and no notes about where they would have moved to Was that in the area of the Tacoma Unit, right by Alberston's, etc.? Last I heard ProHorse was in that area. I swear I have never seen a business move or change names more than that one!

It would be fabulous if you could hit Iron Horse because I have only a few hours left before I check out for a few days and I just didn't make it to Iron Horse...so if you could rabbithounds I would be ever so grateful ;D
I did not find a listing for Professional Horseman's Supply, in Puyallup however there was one listed in Auburn but I didn't make it there yet and if no one else can get to it I can do it later next week.
I also never found a listing for Lincoln Hardware in Tacoma so obviously I have not gone there either yet.

The Auburn listing is probably from a REALLY long time ago (that's where the business started). I may head to Auburn tomorrow. What was the address you had in Auburn?

I see a Lincoln Hardware at 3726 S G Street, Tacoma, WA 98418 Is that the one you mean?
