I am planning on coming up on Friday to spend the night before the horse show. So, since I am unfamiliar with the area up there, I was hoping someone might be able to point me to a decent hotel close to the show area.

I second that. Will we have access to the show grounds the night before again like last time?

Anything in Bellevue or Kirkland is close (less than 20 minutes or so away).

There are two that are pretty close, within 10 minutes (no traffic), and not 5-star expensive. La Quinta Inn - Kirkland, www.lq.comThe Silver Cloud Inn - Bellevue, www.silvercloud.com

The La Quinta is super close and easy to find, you can see it from 520. I have stayed in the Red Lion in Bellevue, it was pretty nice too, and it is right off of 405.

Hey, pulling up hotel locations...how close is SeaTac to the show grounds? I've stayed at a hotel around SeaTac, and it was decent. Would work for what I need it for!

30 to 45 minutes depending on traffic conditions. Not recommended.

Yeah, stick with Kirkland, Bellevue or even Redmond. Woodinville or Bothell wouldn't be too bad either.
