Hey Gingersmom, I don't think anyone has had time to organize this, I suggest going directly to the website to make a donation. You can sponsor one of the horses for as little as $25. I had a hard time deciding, but eventually decided to sponsor Princess, who's face reminded me of dear old Olly, and who aborted her foal shortly after the accident. Here's the website again: hsmo.convio.net/site/PageServer?pagename=lrr_Donate_Horse_Heroes

Oh you weren't kidding......that definitely will make you cry. Seeing the fear in the eyes of those poor horses is horrible. I can't imagine the pain these poor horses suffered during this horrific accident. Seeing that video and hearing what the rescuers had to say was heart wrenching!

Hey Bonnie, I already donated directly, as I think a number of us did. But I think a donation from SAFE is appropriate as well.

Larkspur sent her donation straight to SAFE so I need to forward it along with my donation. I'll match bsnlark's contribution and then maybe the SAFE fund can throw in $40 to make it an even $200, sent to them from all of us at SAFE.
Sound okay?
