No pictures yet, but I did get this lovely email from Pockets' new owner the day after she picked him up: I do not even have the words to express our appreciation in adopting pockets. Since he has been here last night he has had a good 4 hours of brushing between me and the boys, we are working on that winter coat. I got him clipped and he was so good, getting rid of those long whiskers made him look so much younger. Our dog She-ba and he have bonded and she follows him everywhere. He whinnies when she gets out of sight and she runs right back over. He is taking over the little pony pen and enjoying his own space, and all the horses love him the three mares at the neighbors and of course my moms lonely gelding are quickly binding with him. When I was picking his feet he did awesome on the front but he seemed to loose balance when I lifted his back feet have you noticed this or is this a new problem? He is being so spoiled that my older son holds the feed bowl up to him so he doesn't have to bend over to get it. I will send you a picture in a few days so you can see how happy he is. Thank you again we just love him and can't stop petting him and leading him around.
Thank you thank you thank you,
Elizabeth Rock

I'm not sure whose expression I like more, Pockets or his boy; truly heart warming.

I cannot imagine a better home! He looks very happy and your son is adorable! The picture with the dog is sooo cute! I had a yearling colt once that bonded with my labrador puppy and they would play for hours on either side of the pasture fence.

Those are the best pictures EVER! That totally made my day. I am so happy that Pockets has found such an excellent home. He looks like a completely different horse. He's smiling!

Hi, Pockets, aka pippens from the lord of the rings movie, is settling in wonderfully. Here a few few recent photos of him and his "following" he is quite spoiled amongst the neighbors and my kids. He has worked out so wonderfully for me and my family! Thank you to all who helped make this possible! Beth, Scott, Andrew, Charlie, She ba and the neighbor kids

Everyone, please jingle for sweet Pockets. He has been losing weight and Beth (pocketsmommy) is very concerned about him. She had the vet out a few weeks ago and the vet wasn't too concerned but he has continued to drop weight and is now not eating as well as he had been. Vet is coming back out tomorrow. Please, this old man needs some jingles, and as they have worked so well before, can you spare a few for Pockets?
